Isaiah Harris 2024

Isaiah plans on attending UNLV  He enjoys attending church, reading, sports and spending time with family. Isaiah is deeply involved in a multitude of clubs, organizations, and volunteer activities including serving as the captain of both the football and the track-and-field teams and participating in USC’s A-Lab Program. Isaiah Harris consistently exhibits strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence.

D’Ontay Everitt 2024

De’Ontay plans on attending UCLA. He is a member of the golf team, JROTC, and participated in the ALAB Architecture at USC. He stated that the grant “… represents an opportunity to give back... I aspire to be a catalyst for social transformation and equitable access to education.”

Jordan Bradford 2024

Jordan plans on attending the University of Southern California (USC). Jordan has studied six years of mathematics in four years of high school. He has been recognized for his outstanding achievements in AP Language & Composition, and TV/Film Production.

Oluwayomi Paul  2024

Oluwayomi plans on attending CSUF.  He enjoys playing soccer and basketball and reading. He is especially proud of his independence and that he has overcome a lot of the obstacles in his short life. He is involved in a variety of community-based organizations and clubs including the Brotherhood Crusade and Students Run Los Angeles. He is currently taking a software engineering course to help further his educational and career goals.

Jeffrey Joseph 2023
Jeffrey has been accepted into the University of California, Los Angeles. His plan is to major in  Computer Science. He was Student Body Vice President and also participated in â€‹Academic Decathlon, Massa Club, and the Yearbook. Jeffrey's hobbies include swimming, competitive gaming, skateboarding, and computer building. 

Brayden Dillon 2023

Brayden is looking forward to enrolling at Clark Atlanta University. He will be majoring in Business. with a focus on either Entrepreneurship or Marketing. Brayden currently owns his own business called Thirteen Apparel best known for the Fear God dry-fit tees and the newly designed streetwear (hoodies, crewnecks, flare pants, and t-shirts). Brayden started the business before he started 10th grade.

Paul Olumide 2023

Paul will be attending California State University, Long Beach this year. He plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Psychology and become a licensed therapist. He eventually wants to open his own practice. Paul migrated to the U.S. from Nigeria and is a DACA recipient. He was very involved on his high school campus including athletics, student organizations, and councils as well as tutoring programs.

Jumauri Williams 2022
Jumauri is continuing his education at California States University, Dominguez Hills. His plans are to complete a degree in audio engineering. Jumauri told us that he had a middle school teacher who told him that he didn't have what it takes to go to college. Jumauri accepted the challenge and through intellect and perseverance, he wants to have a positive influence on the world.

Jay’Den Harris 2022
Jay'Den was recognized by Emperors Forever for his extraordinary drive to succeed in the face of several personal and family setbacks. He is determined to continue playing basketball and completing a college degree.

Jordan Jacobs 2022
Jordan recently completed his first year at California State University, Northridge. He is majoring in Communications. In high school, Jordan was a member of the JROTC, played football, and was the Athletics Sports Commissioner for Leadership. He was also a volunteer in the community and held down two jobs.
